When you have the desire to make up with someone and
save your relationship, ask yourself
this question. Are they willing to do the same? If so, there
is a good chance that your relationship can be saved. There
are two types of relationships. Those that make it and those
that do not. When one person is the only trying, this
relationship is not going to work and sooner or later a
break-up is inevitable.
Making up is a part of living together and
not sharing the same thoughts and convictions when it comes to
certain parts of your lives. When disagreements arise, it is
always better to give yourself time to cool down before
attempting to discuss the problem. Try too soon and all you end
up doing is reviving the argument all over again. Wait until
the disagreement is not so fresh in your mind. Do you know that
if given enough time after an argument, often it is forgotten
what started it in the first place? Now, how silly is it to be
arguing over something you cannot even remember?
Just a few times a month, stop and take inventory of your
relationship. When was the last time you went on a date with
your other half? This is one of the little things we forget
about as we are together longer. Keep the romance
alive and you may not have to wonder if you will be
making up this time.
